A Hollywood Tragedy

If you're a child of the 80's you probably grew up watching Full House. Oh, how I loved this sitcom in my days of yore. Who am I kidding, I still love it.

Of course one of the dreamiest cast members was John Stamos, or as he was fondly known on the show, Uncle Jesse.

A star on one of the best T.V. shows of all history - he was truly on top of his game.

And that's why my heart broke a little when I saw him on T.V. recently.

It pains me to say this, but yes what you are seeing is our beloved John in a *gulp* yogurt commercial.

The highest of highs to the lowest of lows.
Hollywood is a cold, cruel place.

I thought the same thing. I even turned my head in shame while watching it.

I am a mom to an adorable (but smack in the middle of the terrible 3's) son and a too good to be true baby girl. I like to consider myself a stay at home mom, but truth be told I work a whopping 6 hours a week as a social worker. Our plans this summer are wide open, although I imagine we'll do a fair amount of camping because apparently that's "our thing." I also hope to be outside enough that I get a decent tan, but let's be real, I haven't had a bronze body since the summer I got married. My favorite summer treat is a fudgesicle.

The resident foreigner. I live in Brisbane, Australia with my studly husband and son, who is also studly – tell your daughters. I work (‘work’ is an exaggeration) as a music teacher in schools which is much more fun than it sounds; that is if singing, dancing, and banging on instruments all day is your idea of a good time. We enjoy our summers spending time at the beach, fishing and drinking mango smoothies. It is heading into winter here, so we’ll do all the same things whilst wearing a sweater. I sing in the shower, lay on the grass making cloud stories, and occasionally tie people's shoe laces together... just for fun.

Mom of 3. plus a 29 year old husband who I sometimes mistake for a kid based on the number of time I pick up his shoes. We are moving in T-3 days from the land of lovers (Virginia) to the land of Mormons (Utah). After our 4 day travel back to the mothership, I will travel to the land of chicken, rice and awesomeness (Dominican Republic) for a 8 day vacation sans kids. It's going to be lovely. After that we'll be back to the ol' schedule of doing whatever it is stay-at-home moms do. My favortie summer treat isMaggie Moo's chocolate better batter ice cream. Hands down
